Commercial snow and ice management is the full-season plowing, salting and de-icing of a commercial or industrial property, so lots, drive lanes, loading areas and entrances stay open through every storm. In Stow, Akron and the rest of Summit County that work is done by O'Bryan Grounds Maintenance, independently owned and operated in Stow since 1993 and running 24 hours a day, 7 days a week all winter long. Crews are uniformed and run commercial grade equipment, plow trucks, loaders, bobcats and salt spreaders, out of the yard on Seasons Road. Plowing, salting and de-icing come from one company, and commercial customers can also call in de-icing as needed. The plan for a property is worked out before the season hits, so the morning after a storm the lot is clear before customers and staff arrive. Two snow certifications, Certified Snow Professional and Advanced Snow Manager, back the work.

- Yes. Plowing, salting and de-icing are all part of the service, from one company.
- Can we call in de-icing as needed?
- Yes. Commercial customers can request call-in de-icing services.
- How does invoicing work?
- For commercial customers, seasonal services are invoiced on the 1st. Per-service work is invoiced on the 1st and the 15th. One-time work is invoiced upon completion.
- What payment options do you accept?
- Cash, check, credit or debit card with a 3.5% fee, and ACH with a 1% fee. Automatic payments are also available.
