Sidewalk, entrance and step clearing is done for commercial customers by request, subject to manpower availability, so the walkways people actually use are cleared and treated along with the lot. Loader service stacks and relocates heavy snow so a lot stays usable through a long winter instead of shrinking as the piles grow. In Stow, Akron and across Summit County both are done by O'Bryan Grounds Maintenance, independently owned in Stow since 1993, with experienced operators running loaders and bobcats out of the yard on Seasons Road. Plowing, salting, walkway clearing and loader work all come from one company, which means one plan for the property and one number to call, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, all winter long.
